In a surprising crossover event that challenges traditional predictions, the game developer has announced an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Mission Disclosed
According to the authorized announcement, "A mysterious meeting pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a original quest, where hints of banned ceremonies and fearsome metamorphoses reverberate through the shadows." The storyline presents a "unusually attired woman named Ada" who assigns the pair with traveling into the Gemstone Grotto—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a clandestine group.
The questline concentrates on "strange tests and a monstrous foe" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Places and Metamorphoses
The preview features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser ends with a powerful sequence showing a character, probably the prisoner, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who successfully complete the mission will receive an exclusive katana together with numerous artifacts concealed throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also contains premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
